An Absence with a Purpose
Dear Readers,
It has been some time since my last post. I have been immersed in completing my next book, “The Caravan Trail.” It has taken me more than a year to complete this work—a biography, a journey, and above all, a reflection on leadership, character, and the paths we choose, which in turn shape our lives. The manuscript is presently awaiting the necessary clearances. You shall be the first to know when it is published.
Today, "Redefining Horizons" (jacobshorizon.blogspot.com) has been read by more than 175,000 readers across 113 countries.
Over the years, we have examined leadership, military history, strategy, travel, current affairs and the lessons hidden in everyday experiences. Every article was intended not merely to inform, but to provoke thought and conversation.
To promote frank and free exchange of ideas, the blog has been kept absolutely free of cost and devoid of any advertisements. It will continue to remain so, free from paid influences. The only support I seek is your participation.
Take a moment to share your thoughts on the
articles. Your perspectives enrich the discussion, and you deserve to be heard.
Your voice matters.
Let us exchange ideas.
Two of my books are available
on various sites.
If you enjoy stories that challenge the ordinary, have found yourself in difficult situations or feel like giving up, you will like “Dare Dream Different”, a novel that explores ambition, courage, compassion and the unexpected consequences of choice. It is about ordinary people achieving extraordinary things, where dreams become deeds. Read to believe.
If murder investigations, courtroom drama, military life, moral dilemmas and love on trial interest you, The Second Bullet draws you into a gripping military trial inspired by real events.
Stay with the blog. Read, comment and share. And if my writing resonates with you, I hope you'll enjoy my books as well.
Regards
A soldier who reflects.
A traveller who observes.
A writer
who asks difficult questions.
